We’ve gathered some handy tips on household products or items that may assist in removing unsightly stains from your carpets. Always test these on a small section first to ensure there are no bad reactions!
Beer – A staple of many Aussie fridges beer can help remove those impossible tea and coffee stains but you can lift it out by pouring a bit of beer right on top. Rub the beer lightly into the material and the stain should disappear. You may need to repeat a few times to completely remove the stain.
Ammonia – Mix 1 cup of clear Ammonia with 2 litres of warm water. Use this to remove stains from carpet and upholstery by sponging them out with a non-coloured sponge. Let it dry then repeat if necessary.
Vinegar – A master product for cleaning and stain removal, there are a few different concoctions you can try
Shaving Cream –
Baking Soda – another champion product for cleaning. Baking soda will clean and deodorise Vomit and Urine from your carpet. Clean up the excess as best as you can then pour Baking Soda over the area, and lightly let it dry then vacuum it up.
