31/05/20 I highly rate my Methven warranty experience. Tom from My Home Plumbing called to install the new tap and did a very good job. It was also a pleasure to have Tom in my home. I like the Methven Futura tap very much. However it's performance does tend to diminish after a year or so, the main problem being water leakage at the hose to tap body joint. It used to be much easier to report a problem to Methven before it was taken over by Caroma, but thanks Caroma for finally coming through. I appreciated that. I highly commend the Methven Futura tap. 12/02/20 Initial email was sent 10 Jan for warranty.
After many calls reply was received “Thank you for your email and phone call. Please accept our sincere apologies for not responding to your query sooner.” Dated 22 January.
An incorrect part was received while My Home Plumbing services attended to install. Plumber, Sandy was wonderful and assisted to arrange the correct part be re-sent. Part was not received In that period I again contacted Methven several times until I received a call back from Fiona at Caroma Brisbane who re-placed the order as no initial order was placed. I was advised the part would be received by Tuesday, 11 Feb. Upon delivery I phoned My Home Plumber and Sandy was able to install the part on Wednesday, 12 February.
It may have taken a month with the delays, incorrect part been sent, with that mentioned I wish to thank Sandy and Fiona for their assistance.
